chasing the truck

Friends and co-workers know that I am a devotee of Curry Up Now's chicken tikka masala burritos. At work we've been discussing the possibility of making a pilgrimage to the bricks-and-mortar location where they have a larger menu - one that cannot be supported by the confines of a food truck. It so turns out that talking about said chicken tikka masala burritos has given my buddy Cabbage a hankering for a food she had not yet tasted. So today we drove to San Mateo to try Curry Up Now B&N...

the colors on this sign don't show very well but the red square sign definitely reads "Curry Up Now"

the huge menu. But...

as it turns out I could not cheat on my chicken tikka masala burrito.
Check out the mint in my mint mango lassi! (Sans mint at the food trucks)

at the restaurant, the utensil of choice is the spork!

One pro of driving all the way to San Mateo is that you can eat the burrito right away! I mean, I guess you could eat it right after picking up the grub from the truck but we like to take it back to the lunchroom at the office. But I might change that because there's an added layer of greatness when eaten as hot as possible.

Ah, what bliss!
