When
The Hangover 2 came out, I was
busy watching Bridesmaids instead. So it was high time I caught up with everybody else...
I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, so all I'll say is watch out for Ken Jeong as the scandalous Mr. Chao!

holla, city of squalor! |
So naturally, when I took my granny out for dinner tonight, I was in the mood for Thai food. Trekked our way to
Chabaa Thai Cuisine on Irving Street... my granny doesn't eat beef so I ordered everything but:
|
chicken satay |
|
pad ma kuer (an eggplant and pepper mix) with pork |
|
<3 duck friend rice! Hands down, the favorite of both granny and myself! |
|
our green tea came in these adorable little teapots! |
Absolutely tasty Thai food... pretty good for the price, and I'll eat anywhere but Osha... I don't need a sexed-up and overpriced restaurant that promotes its Absolut cocktails more than its food.
Oh yeah, and Chabaa Thai Cuisine is really close to my granny's house. Love it when a tasty place is super-convenient!
